Leichhardt Tigers Junior SC (LTJSC) is an Association Football Club participating in the Canterbury & District Soccer Football Association (CDSFA or Association) League. As a Club we are very proud of our heritage and links to our successful big brother APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers is one of Australia’s pioneer football clubs having been formed in 1954 in the suburb of Leichhardt – a club that has great presence and commands respect not only from our local community, but nationally.
LTJSC is an inter-generational club with today a number of fathers, sons and daughters playing together. APIA has also produced a number of Socceroos since its inception not to mention the most number of national team captains for a Club side.
Our broader club is a multicultural club in its very nature reflecting the cultural diversity of the Inner West of Sydney. Whilst being culturally diverse our club still cherishes its’ Leichhardt Italian heritage.
First and foremost our Club’s social and community objectives are to:
To build community cohesion and social well being through participation in community football
To provide, promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle for school age persons specifically and the community generally through football education, participation and programs;
The advancement of health by participation in football activity
