Futsal
The APIA Futsal program is structured as a comprehensive pathway designed to develop fast, highly technical, and smart football players. The program splits into two distinct structural tiers depending on the age group and competitive level
Overview
APIA Futsal is a complete pathway for developing fast, highly technical and smart football players. It has two levels, depending on age and how competitive you want to be: the Futsal Academy for U8s to U14s, and our Premier League teams for U11s to Open.
The Futsal Academy
Boys and girls, U8 to U14
Focused on grassroots progression and core skills, the Academy fast-tracks young players’ development.
- Rapid technical development, 5-a-side decision making, speed of play and confidence on the ball
- 10-week blocks in small groups (up to 12 players), led by professional, licensed coaches
- Club-aligned development squads and structured match play on Sundays, at venues such as Marrickville PCYC and Concord Sports and Rec Centre
Premier League Competition Teams
U11 to Open Seniors
For more competitive players, APIA is an official club in the Football NSW Futsal Premier League 2.
- Home and away round-robin league matches across Sydney and NSW
- A weekly training session, which all players must attend
- The season runs through spring and summer, usually starting around September with finals before Christmas
